It is officially November 6th which means we have reached election day of 2018. With both the House and Senate up for grabs as well as Gubernatorial positions, it is an especially important mid-term election. Many have probably seen people posting their "I Voted" sticker pictures and statuses proudly detailing their trip to the polls. While many have already told you that you should "Go vote", Google is trying to do much more; they want to be your home of all things election.

Right off the bat, Google's Doodle for the day is simply the same font style and color it has always been, but the word "Google" has been replaced with "Go Vote". While they simply could have stopped there, it would not be in Google's nature with their vast resources and strong AI presence. Googling things such as, "How do I vote?" will give users little tid-bits of information about the registering vote and how to complete the process; it even allows the user to pick their state. Additionally, asking, "Where do I vote?" allows you to enter your registered address to find your polling place.

After the polls have closed and the results start coming in, you can search for "Senate results" or "House results" to get up-to-date, live results. Voting and electing officials is one of your fundamental rights and responsibilities, and Google wants to be both your guiding hand and trusted friend.
