The first official look at Avengers: Endgame is now available

Marvel has made it official: Avengers 4 will be Avengers: Endgame. The culmination of the 22-film, 10-year journey will finally come to a close and the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be forever changed.

While unconfirmed, there had been speculation on the untitled Avengers film since the release of Avengers: Infinity War. Originally deemed "Infinity War Part 2", Marvel when a different direction with the idea that the two films would have separate identities. The leading thought was that the new film could be Avengers: Annihilation or possibly Avengers: Decimation (named after the now-known name of Thanos' snap). However, the line from Doctor Strange always stuck making Endgame a very likely name for the new film, and it appears that is what stuck.

The new trailer offers little in terms of plot or the return of our favorite heroes that were snapped out of existence. Even so, it is the first look at highly anticipated film, and it provides excellent fodder for those that simply cannot wait to jump back in to the MCU. This week's Captain Marvel trailer, along with this new Avengers trailer, has only increased the excitement for the conclusion of this incredible journey; tomorrow's Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer-drop is likely to make this feeling ramp up even higher.
