Say goodbye to work phones and personal phones; now you can just have "your phone"...if you are on Verizon that is.

Just today, Verizon announced the "My Numbers" app that is available for download on the Play Store and the App store. The app will provide you with multiple text messaging threads, voicemails, and call logs for your multiple numbers; Verizon says you can support up to five numbers on one device. Along with the app, you will need an additional $15 per month per number subscription through Verizon.

Despite the monthly cost for access, it is considerably cheaper than a new device and contract so this could be a very valuable option for businesses that would rather pay the $15 and ask employees to use their own devices (which they are probably more comfortable with). This service should be similar to T-Mobile "Digits" and presumably as simple as comparable apps like "Google Voice". It should certainly be more convenient than multiple sim cards in a single device considering many devices launch with a single sim slot in the United States; although, eSim is certainly trying to fill that void.

The service is live now and available for download; now is the time to get rid of the second device you are prone to lose.
